Oh, this is one of my favorites! It is the night before Election Day, I can’t think of a better way to clear my mind and sooth my soul as I lay my head on my pillow. Isn’t it amazing what music can accomplish. Thank you!

Thank you, Lor - I'm always so happy to hear that my music can be soothing, especially during high-stress times!

And John O’Donohue…💫

Fog Chaser's avatar

He really was something else, right?

Oh man, such a peaceful piece. I love this addition. It’s light and playful and ethereal.

Your music has been a staple of my writing the last few weeks…

Oh that’s so wonderful to hear - thank you so much, Brian. I took a page out of your book (based on what you told Taegan) and have been lighting a candle during my morning music sessions. Game changer.

There is something about fire. Energy, danger, and beauty.

Oh my god this is stunning, and absolutely the piece I needed to inspire my next chapter. THIS IS PENGLAI! Can I use it in my chapter later?

Fog Chaser's avatar

Thank you, Elle! Sure! I can email it over to you

Just lovely. I've made it my practice to listen to your meditations before I start a writing session. They create the perfect energy for the words to flow.

Fog Chaser's avatar

That is so kind of you to say — and an honor for me to hear that my music can be a good complement to your own writing. Thank you so much, Laura.

delightful. lying in bed feeling very unwell all of a sudden. guests about to arrive and my poor love with another thing to worry about. the music is very restful and joyful. shame about our neighbours badly trained dog. they should play the music to the dog.

Fog Chaser's avatar

I'm sorry to hear that you were feeling unwell — guests tend to have that effect. I hope you're feeling better now. Thank you for listening.

A sweet melody goes perfectly with this morning’s mix of cool temps and a slight breeze. I too live in the PAC NW, and I love it here. Glad to have found you

Fog Chaser's avatar

Hello neighbor! I'm glad you found me, too 😌

So gorgeous and full of wonder, my friend. I don't know how you do it but I'm glad you keep doing it.

Fog Chaser's avatar

Thanks, Ben — right back at you!

A perfect antidote to a long day—thank you. And, as always, your music theory notes are much appreciated.

Thank you so much 😌

Don’t how you , I don’t know how is your creating process but

Instigates me to think where you’re in those moments

and

for 3’ I was just there with you

Fog Chaser's avatar

That is a very nice thing to say, Berkana - I can think of nothing better than for someone to feel transported into the song. Thank you 🙏

This feels like a contemplative walk on a rugged coastline…turning and turning a question in the mind. I hear the excitement and hopefulness of a some new realization at the end, as the next branching path opens!

Matt, it’s amazing to watch how each listener takes this song into their own inner world, makes from it their own dwelling place. Music as landscape, destination, home.

Fog Chaser's avatar

Thank you so much, Ann. Honestly, getting to have these exchanges here and seeing people’s reactions to the music is so incredible. It’s the highlight of anything I’ve ever done or will ever do musically. And your responses are always so thoughtful - I like you’ve heard this song as a coastal walk. Lovely. Your continued kindness and support puts a lot of wind in my sails 🙏

G# minor is probably my favorite key. That and Db major. They're both warm and so evocative and fit well in the hand. Gorgeous song.

Fog Chaser's avatar

Agreed! It’s interesting how keys have different feels, but they really do, especially on piano. I’m not nearly as proficient a player as you, but this is one of those keys I feel like I can just get lost in. And 100% about the warmth. Thanks so much for listening, Zach.
