Thank you Matt. Tried to listen to the piece for writers, but Spotify is relentless if you don’t have an account so I haven’t been able to do a full writing session for the duration of the piece yet. Maybe you can place it here? Wonderful poem too.
Hi Matt, you are welcome. It i a piece that is called The writing Hour | Instrumental. It is one hour and 19 min. I could not listen to it uninterrupted and would love too. And it is ideal for me as I am doing sessions of 1hr and 15 min. When I am at home I can use my partner's Spotify, but I am away until mid February.
Love the string arrangement in this one! And Fog Chaser is my monthly reminder of how much I miss living in Oregon. What a beautiful part of the world.
I’m in the suburbs of Detroit, where I grew up. But my wife and I lived in Rockaway Beach for a few years in our mid-20s. It was so unbelievably beautiful there.
That's awesome. We took almost everyone who came to visit down to Cape Meares. And up through Manzanita to Cannon Beach. A picturesque stretch if ever there was one.
Appreciate you, Kevin! Thank you for taking the time to listen — I know how busy you are with your own newsletter (and other life things!), so, it really means a lot hearing from you. Hope all is well!
Beautiful. I felt deeply connected to you and your autumn vibe while listening to this piece. The fog hangs in the air I'm breathing today...and my eyes are also filled with the colors of the leaves. My ears are listening to your music while I enjoy the peace that only a sunrise over the mountains can bring.
Thank you, Jack. It sounds like you're in a lovely place right now — in what part of the world are you located? Anyway, I'm so glad this song could accompany your peaceful moment.
I listened twice this morning and supplemented it with a hit of FogChacer radio on Spotify. Nice backdrop to my writing today... I'm in Switzerland by the way
Ah, okay - I think I knew that! I love Switzerland - such a beautiful country. I’ve spent a little time in Lausanne and in the Alps a bit. And thank you for listening to that FC radio!
Beautiful as always! And so fun to read the good trade article ❤️ “while it’s somewhat aspirational, I’m finding that the more I build it in my newsletter, the more I live it in my everyday life.”
Thanks for welcoming us into the world you’re building.
Thank you, Katie! It was really nice to be included in that piece, and I was more than happy to extol the virtues of this platform (which has really allowed me to build this world). I hope you're doing well!
This one definitely feels like the season. Somber but peppered with some levity -- like that reedy minor melody. Looking forward to the movie or streaming series you end up scoring some day! (Enjoyed the recorded reading also.)
Thank you for this cool dip!
🙏
Those strings sound amazing!!
Everything does, but those touches are so beautiful!
Thank you so much, Clara!
I’ll check your YouTube . I use all your playlists. Thank you Matt.

Thank you, Xanda. And yes - Spotify is definitely relentless. Which piece are you referring to?

Gotcha. Yes, that is a playlist I made on Spotify. What other services do you use? I could try to make something on Youtube for you?
Hello Matt, I just got six months free subscription with Apple. But you have a lot less material there . Is this correct?
It should be the same amount of material! Anything I release should go to both Spotify and Apple.
I found the rest Matt. Thank you. Not sure why that happened before .
I’ll check again. It only had 4 or six thumb nails. I’ll check again.
Well done on the strings! They’re beautiful. And your studio looks amazing too.
Thank you!
Lovely as usual. Thanks for this!
Thank you, Cole!!
Beautiful
Thanks, David - appreciate you giving it a listen!
Finally a calm moment to fully enjoy this... Beautiful as always, thank you sir!
Thank you, Lail!
Love the poem reading, it's awesome to hear your voice. Great newsletter and content as we get deeper into fall and then winter!
Thank you!
Will be revisiting this frequently over the next few weeks. Breathtaking. Thank you for your art.
Thank you, Kayti ☺️

Thanks, Brennan! Where are you living these days?

Oh, that's great — I was just down near Cape Meares recently. Such a stunning part of the world.

Fantastic work, as always. Thank you for this.

I just love your newsletter so much. Such a bright spot and such a pleasure to read and listen to. Thank you for continuing to make your art! 💚
That is so kind of you, Elea. Thank you so much for taking the time to share. I'm honored that you're here!

In the words of a very wise friend of mine, "from your mouth to god's ears!" Thank you for being here, Kyle. As always.
